Interstellar threats shape this season far more strongly than many of its predecessors. With the return of Lord Zedd as the central antagonist, the conflict is raised to a galaxy-wide level. The story therefore covers not only local dangers, but also events with cosmic and time-spanning consequences.

The Megazord is accordingly designed primarily for space and interplanetary missions and differs clearly in design and functionality from the classic, ground-based Megazords of earlier seasons. Its weaponry and combat techniques are thematically tuned to the cosmic setting of the series.

The Zord positions within the KyurenOh are variable and can be swapped among one another. This interchangeability is also actively used within the series itself. Regardless of the specific arrangement of positions, however, the formation retains the name KyurenOh as long as only the originally associated five Zords take part in the combination.

The US/EU designations of individual Zords, of alternative configurations, and of possible combinations with Auxiliary Zords are currently not yet officially confirmed or not fully known to me at this time. Corresponding names and additional information will be added as soon as reliable official sources are available.
